Ah, well, the world’s still here.
Fortunately, predictions of the “end of the world” are just reflections of our own mortality. The world seems much better at the “keep on keepin’ on” thing than we’d like to think.
Oh, we feel like we’re immortal, somehow, and it’s the world that’s going to end. But the world’s 4.5 billion years old, and we’re going to live 100 if we’re lucky.
