  1. I wonder if daily affirmations take a route opposite to that of sigils. Instead of slipping an idea into the subconscious and then forgetting it, you brow-beat your conscious mind with an idea until it seeps into your subconscious. At the same time, the idea ceases to mean much of anything to your conscious mind, like saying a word over and over again until it fails to make sense to you.
